Bob’s Johns, Inc. has been in business here in Durango since 1976. All the experience of the previous owner was passed to us and we continue with that knowledge and experience.

  • Quality, Modern Equipment
    All of our Special Event Units are Satellite Tuffways with waterless hand sanitizer solution dispensers. We find they are incredibly rugged and spacious. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service. When serviced every unit will be sanitized, not just hosed down with water. Bob’s Johns, Inc. uses the best chemicals available in the portable toilet industry. We include two 1250 sheet rolls of  two-ply toilet tissue in each unit, so your paper will be clean and dry every time.
  • Premier Weekly Service
    Every unit service includes replenishing the toilet paper, pumping the tank, EPA standard waste disposal, washing the surfaces with hospital grade sanitizer, leveling, cleaning any graffiti, and removing any trash. Bob’s Johns, Inc. is a leader in technology. All our drivers are equipped with PDA devices. Each unit will be scanned before and after service. If there is ever a question of service, our system is computerized to pinpoint the exact date and time the driver was there to service your unit and make any necessary repairs.
  • Personal Service
    We will answer the telephone when you call during normal business hours and are available nights and weekends at the same telephone number for emergencies.
    Your service technician will be a trained professional interested in providing you with excellent service.

Our People

The Bob's family is PSAI Certified and trained to put the customer first.

Brian “Weekend at Bernie’s” Delker, the Road Boss has been a co-owner of the company since 1999.


Christine “Queen of Latrines” Manning, the Marketing Manager has been with the company since August 2000.


Jacob “Garcia” Gonzales was initiated with the Missionary Ridge Fire deployments in the summer of 2002 and has advanced to managing his own route. Jacob manages the Mesa Top, Florida Valley, East & West Animas Valley as well as Hwy 550 North to Silverton.


James “Crusher” Matthews is our Gas Well Guru, joining the team in September 2002.


John “____” Buckley worked a summer route in 2004 and is back with the company as of May 2006. John manages the in town Durango route, Wildcat, Grandview, Bayfield and Pagosa Springs routes.


Jolene Matthews has been in the office trenches since February 2004, she's still working on her code name.


Kris “Wookie” Herman recently succumbed to the allure of the Colorado Mountains after spending many summers here. He continues to show undying love for the work he does and a profound loyalty and respect for his Road Boss.


Rob “CFO” Fogleman the offical General Manager, has been a co-owner of the company since 1999.


Victor “The Mexican” Chalepah is the official Yard Boy while on the “6 year plan” at Fort Lewis College.
